A new brand is born
The new logo of TUT is not just a pretty picture – it communicates and symbolises a number of crucial factors that are key to the institution.
The logo symbolises the advancement of knowledge and skills in a higher education context and reflects the diversity of the institution’s stakeholder population. It symbolises the coming together of the three technikons to form a whole, and the institution’s holistic approach to its various tasks. Finally, the logo captures the location and cultural heritage of the institution, and focuses on the individual, in line with the institution’s Motto: “We empower people”.
